Completing activation
If you signed up for a new Tracker account or were invited to someone else’s account or project, you’ll need to check your inbox for a confirmation/invite email and click the Join the Project or Confirm Sign-up link to go to a page to set your password. If it doesn’t show up, please check your spam folder. If it’s not there, see if you have any email rules that might be filtering Tracker emails somewhere unexpected.
Forgot password
If you forgot your password, simply click the Forgot password? link on the Sign In page. You’ll be taken to a page to enter your email address and receive a password reset email. If you haven’t yet set an initial password, the Forgot password? link will not work for your login, as you don’t yet have a password to reset. In this case, please click the link included in the original invite/confirmation email to go to a page where you can set your password.
Using password managers
Tracker supports auto filling your username and password using password manager apps such as 1Password. Follow your password manager app’s instructions for signing in to websites with the username and password split across multiple pages.
If you still have trouble, please try pointing your Tracker login in your password manager to this URL: https://www.pivotaltracker.com/signin?credentials%5Busername%5D=<USERNAME> where <USERNAME> is replaced by your Tracker username.
It may be necessary to delete any active Tracker login entries from your password manager, and re-save them according to your password manager’s steps for saving credentials across multiple pages.
Browser auto-complete/fill
It’s possible that your browser is auto-completing either or both login fields with incorrect data. If that’s what’s preventing you from signing-in, you should be able to override or delete any incorrect browser auto-fill items.
Contact Support
If you continue to have issues signing in, please contact Tracker Support from the address associated with your Tracker login so we can assist you in gaining immediate access.
